Gaza’s largest and most beloved book shop and library was destroyed by air strikes on Tuesday 18th May 2021.
The two-story Samir Mansour book store was built 21 years ago. Not only a book shop, it served as a community center which was used by many Palestinian school children. Tens of thousands of books were destroyed.
The aim is to raise $250,000 through crowdfunding to help rebuild the business.
